COVID-19 Update From Our Administrator – March 25, 2020

Hello,

Last week, I sent an email personally thanking you for your patience during this very unusual time we are all facing regarding Covid-19. In that same email, I mentioned we would provide alternate means of communications we are making available with your loved one. Some of those options included: ZOOM, FaceTime or Skype. We also mentioned that messages will get posted on our Facebook page instructing people on how to set-up a time to use one of the above. Again, our Facebook handle is @SouthShoreRehab. Our Skype handle is south shore and, at the moment, is available from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If you are interested in using Skype as a means to communicate with your loved one, please let us know and we will coordinate a call. We have already also successfully also used ZOOM and FaceTime.

Last Friday, at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2020, we hosted our first virtual “Town Hall” conference call. I want to thank all the family members that took the time to check in. For those of you that were able and those of you that were not able, we will be hosting another virtual “Town Hall” conference call again at 2:00 PM this Friday, March 27, 2020. As with last time, please look for an email coming directly from ZOOM where they will provide you with the information necessary to connect with the call.

In this call, we will cover any questions you may have or we can follow an agenda of items such as following CDC recommendations, activities, center cleaning/infection prevention, etc. This is your time and we want to make sure that the time, format and communications being discussed meet with your needs.

Please continue to reach out if you have any further questions.

Thank you again for your understanding.

 Respectfully,

 Jason
